DESCRIPTION:
The bird in the image is a House Sparrow, likely a male. It exhibits the characteristic reddish-brown crown and nape, grayish underparts, and streaked brown back. Although partially obscured, a dark patch around the eye and a hint of a black bib are also consistent with a male House Sparrow. The bird is perched inside a wooden bird feeder filled with seeds, possibly sunflower or safflower seeds.
