DESCRIPTION:
The bird is viewed from behind while perched on a wooden feeder tray filled with mixed nuts and seeds. It exhibits the characteristic dark, solid black cap on its head, which is a primary field mark for identifying this species. Although its face and breast are partially obscured due to its posture, the distinct black cap contrasting with the lighter neck area is clearly visible.
